Individuality even on the last journey?

Cremation like no other form of burial opens up many opportunities for a personal farewell and burial. International legislation differs strongly, but even just the handling of the ashes of the deceased offers many different options with which people often identify more strongly than with a conventional funeral.

These options include: Aerial burial and burial at sea, burial in the garden, in space (this is no joke), anonymous burial, urn burial, columbarium, production of diamonds from the ashes, woodland burial, fireworks from the ashes of the deceased, ashes as nutrition for a tree, pencils made of the ashes of the deceased, ash amulettes for the bereaved and many more.

It is possible that some readers may be surprised when they read this. We were, too, initially.
