TRUST – Trusting in what lies behind
“Is it possible to have an architecture, a design, which enables people to entrust their loved dead ones to it with confidence?”
There are designs, which present a complete veiling of the technology – we are familiar with such products for examples from the electronics industry – and which in some way nevertheless inspire confidence into the underlying function in the observer.
We do not see the technology, but we trust the well-designed aesthetic surface. Viewing windows, screens or control lamps have a central communication and orientation function in this. They tell us: The technology is in control of the situation.
This is the principle that we used for the first scenario – the TRUST design.
