GOLDEN KAAN – an international brand introduction

The briefing was clear and ambitious: Germany’s market leader for brand wines and the largest wine exporter from South Africa started a Joint Venture with the goal to launch the largest international distributive South African wine brand within two years.

The ARTelier Reiss received the complete assignment for conception, brand development, naming, packaging and the international corporate design.

Since its brand introduction GOLDEN KAAN not only convinced the consumers but also got high attention from the complete international wine world. GOLDEN KAAN already received numerous medals and international prizes for the quality of the wines, the design and the pioneer work of the marketing.

The enormous sales numbers give evidence that good design is less end in itself but more an important selling argument.
